Description This is a 1976 CJ750 WW2 style motorcycle with a sidecar that isn't currently attached. I bought this bike a few years ago and did a LOT Of work on it. I rebuilt the engine, rewired everything with vintage style cloth covered wiring, added a new deep sump oil pan (holds 4 qts now), made a battery box out of a 7.62 ammo can, installed a new from old stock transmission (with reverse), and added a plethora of cosmetic details. The bike will start and run, but needs some adjustment since it hasn't been on the road for over a year. The carbs need to be synced and the clutch needs some minor adjustment, but other than that it should be fine. I have stripped it down somewhat so that it looks more sleek right now, but still have the parts to add the passenger seat and sidecar. This bike does require some mechanical know-how and will need some wrenching to keep things running smoothly. I have put a lot of time and effort into making this bike run and look unique. I have two more bikes and have turned my attention towards them so I've lost interest on this one. It's a old design, though, and very easy to work on. It's a pretty simple set up. The price is firm since I paid more than I'm asking for it, dropped probably another grand into it with parts and modifications, not to mention blood and sweat to make it special. Here are some more specs: - Chang Jiang 1976 - 750cc Side Valve Engine with dual exhaust and dual carbs - Top speed is around 60-65mph - Kickstart and Electric Start - Same design as BMW R71s used in WW2 - Clean and Clear Title - Comes with Sidecar, all parts that have been removed, and any spares or extras in my possession.
The first picture is what the bike looks like NOW. The second is a pic of the battery box I made. The third is the bike how it came and the fourth shows the side car. Sorry I don't have any pics of the sidecar on the bike. By the way, the side car comes with two ammo panniers and a spare tire.
